Congratulations to Henley College students who have received Copper Awards in this year's Cambridge Chemistry Challenge.
Six Henley College students participated in the 2017 Cambridge Chemistry Challenge for Lower Sixth (Year 12). Over 7000 students from 510 schools entered the challenge with questions combining familiar and completely new material with a range of different chemistry covered. The Copper certificate, reflecting a reasonable grasp of A Level material and the ability to apply this knowledge to novel problems, was awarded to 36% of entrants.
Chemistry teachers; Andrew Sutton and Colin Suttie are very proud of their students as the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge is notoriously known for being extremely tough. Well done to; Kate Church, Isabelle Wood, Andrew Oakley, Finlay Morris, Romilly Hryczanek and Stephanie Batten who all received the Copper award.
