Students collect their Education Award certificates at wonderful annual event in Henley's Town Hall.

Our annual Education Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday night at Henley's beautiful Town Hall where proud parents watched winning students collect their certificates from Principal Satwant Deol and Mayor of Henley, Sarah Miller.
The Ceremony was attended by the Governors, students and their families. Over fifty students aged 16-19, were recognised for their work both in terms of academic performance as well as their effort, personal endeavours and persistence.
A number of students have already secured places at Universities across the country including Oxford and Cambridge, and a number of students have attained sporting success in triathlon, rugby, football and basketball.
Satwant Deol said, "I was proud of all our students, and it was truly a magical evening. Well done and congratulations to all of our Award winners."
Mike Ashton, Chair of the Governers, summed up the evening by highlighting that with all the academic achievement that has been self-evident, he “kept hearing phrases that include leadership, personality, determination, popular with their colleagues, team players”, and focusing on the importance of these personal qualities, stating “that they will carry you forward and wherever you go and whatever you do, your career flame will burn brighter because of those qualities.”
