Business students develop their employability skills in the Careers and Enterprise team

Last week, Business Level 3 students Oliver Hughes and Aiden Cameron completed their work experience module by working in the Careers and Enterprise team at The Henley College.

Oliver and Aiden produced a piece of work which combined links to the Thames Valley's top 250 companies' job boards in one easily located sheet, which is now placed in the College's careers hub for other students to access.

They also gained experience in company research, marketing research and careers.

The boys’ work experience week culminated in a market research project on Friday which involved Oliver and Aiden interviewing over 40 students to gain information and student perspectives on future careers.

Ty Sterry Head of Enterprise at the College said: “I was really impressed at the application both Ollie and Aiden brought to the enterprise team. Both a real credit to the Business faculty, both showing some real employable skills during the week. I was really happy to have them as part of the team for the week.”
