Back in March, our Criminology students raised and donated money to the domestic abuse charity DASH, a cause they felt strongly about supporting.
This week, they had the chance to hear directly from an outreach worker from DASH, who shared real-life experiences of working with people affected by domestic abuse. It was an honest and eye-opening session that reminded us abuse isn’t just physical, it can also be emotional, psychological, and financial.
Teacher Blessed shared:
" Such opportunities empower our students to become true advocates of change. When we transform our own attitudes, we begin to positively shape the world around us."
It was a powerful reminder of why conversations like these matter and how education can play a vital role in changing lives.
