2027 UCAS Guide
This is a step-by-step guide for Henley College students guiding them through the application form with tips and advice at each stage.
We advise that students work through this document in order to complete their UCAS application form as correctly as possible, and limit mistakes.
The Henley College internal deadline for UCAS university applications is 4 November 2026.
Key Information about The Henley College process for UCAS university applications:
Following the deadline in November, many hundreds of students submit applications on or around the same day. To effectively manage this, they are entered into a shared spreadsheet in strict time/date order and processed in that order.
The following are checked:
Name, Contact information, Finance, Free School Meals, Henley Qualifications, BTEC Registration, ULN number
When we begin the checking, a reference is also requested from the tutor.
Once the application is correct (often requiring the application to be returned to the student), we add the reference from the tutor and the predicted grades
The lead/assistant lead tutors are then informed and they proceed with final checks and then submit the application.
Due to the amount of applications received and that we do not have a dedicated UCAS team, it can take weeks to process an application, so please do not leave it until after the deadline. We do not guarantee submission to UCAS for late applications (submitted after 4 November 2026 internal deadline)
If you are not fully decided on your choices and still attending University Open Days, we recommend that you submit your application anyway and ask the faculty to keep your application on hold - we can then progress with all the checks and reference requests and it will be ready to submit.
It is extremely important that students monitor their College emails at this time as any changes required will be communicated in this way. Any delay in this process could cause failure to meet the deadline.
