Once again, there are many stories of success and personal achievement this year with the release of the A Level and vocational course results. As well as those gaining the highest grades in their subjects, there are many who have also exceeded their own goals to secure their chosen future destinations. We celebrate their achievements and wish them well in the next chapter of their studies or professional life.
A Level student Brandon Hill achieved an incredible three grade As and one grade B to secure his place at Oxford University to study English. Brandon came to the College from Bourne End Academy.
Katia Spyrou earned herself A*A A grades at A Level and will be going on to study International History and Politics at Leeds University. Katia’s mother, Tess Harris, commented: “Our daughter thrived at Henley College, it provided excellent academic input across all her subjects and also taught her to be an independent learner. We couldn’t be happier that she chose Henley College.” Katia came to the College from Abbey School, Reading.
Kieran Hogan also secured 3 grade As in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and will be going to Nottingham University to study Chemistry. Kieran came to Henley from Cox Green School. Over three quarters of our A Level Mathematics students scored a A*-B grade at A Level, an outstanding achievement.
We would very much like to keep in touch with our former students and are always pleased to hear from anyone who would be willing to return to share their experiences with our current students. We also gratefully receive any old photographs or stories you have of your time at the College. Our Alumni association is growing and developing and we invite all past students to register with us so we can keep you informed of our news or any future Alumni events or reunions.
