We understand that there may be times when you would prefer to discuss confidential things with someone at College who isn’t a teacher or tutor. Your tutor may suggest that you talk to one of the College Counsellors, or you may decide for yourself to make an appointment.
The NHS and Oxfordshire County Council provide free drop-in clinics offering confidential advice and support to students. A qualified nurse also provides advice and support in relation to any health issues, three days a week.
Students may find themselves in need of financial advice or help whilst at College. Student Services will be able to give information on various schemes to assist students including:
- Guaranteed Bursary (criteria to be met)
- Discretionary Bursary Fund: All students who are in financial need may apply for help
- Free College meals (criteria to be met)
Student Services can advise about other local charitable organisations who may be able to assist. Please see here for further information.
