Reflecting on the academic accomplishments, A Level and vocational year 2 results echo the standards set in the previous year. The A Level pass rate stands at a commendable 95%, down slightly from last year's 96%, while the year 2 vocational pass rate remains strong at 97%, maintaining the college's reputation for academic excellence.
Within the A Level performance, 33% of students have secured grades ranging from A* to B, whilst 20 subjects have 60% or more A* to C grades. Meanwhile, among year 2 vocational students, an impressive 58% have achieved grades equivalent to A Level AAB or better in terms of UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) points, reinstating pre-pandemic performance levels.
Aaron Danton, from Reading, who previously came from Prospect School achieved A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. He said “I feel happy and relieved and feel my time at Henley was well spent and supported by my teachers. I am really looking forward to going to the University of Cambridge to study Computer Science”
Satwant Deol, Principal and Chief Executive, said "I would like to congratulate our students on their achievements, for this year’s examinations. They have worked incredibly hard and have left college with skills in independence and resilience that will benefit them far beyond sixth form.
These are the students who have not sat examinations before. Many have sat external exams for the first time, this summer. Most students will be able to accept their first-choice university offer. Our staff are fully committed to providing help and support for those students who are looking to go through clearing.

Niya Gurung from Walters Ash, who previously attended Princes Risborough School achieved D*D*D*, which is equivalent in UCAS points to 3 x A* at A level. She will be progressing to AECC University College in Bournemouth to study Diagnostic Radiography. She said “I am so pleased with my results and really enjoyed my time at The Henley College, after hearing such good things about it from people who have attended. I am looking forward to the next stage of my career in science.”
Rosie Lambert, a student from High Wycombe, exemplifies this achievement. Studying A Levels in Photography, Textiles, and Media Studies, Rosie attained A, B, and C grades. Sharing her experience, Rosie says, "I am really glad and happy that I got into the University I want to go to! I was nervous as I did not think I would do as well as I did. I loved my time at college and am sad that is it is over; I am really going to miss the support from teachers!"
Natalia Graczyk, from Maidenhead who previously attended Furze Platt in Maidenhead achieved D*DD in her Level 3 Public Services, said “I am so pleased with my results, I really enjoyed my time at The Henley College and found my teachers supportive, the course interesting and a friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone, as I feel it has really brought out my potential!” Natalia will be going on to study Law and Criminology at Bath Spa University.
Dan Hughes, from Emmer Green in Reading, who previously attended Chiltern Edge, achieved A* A* A* A in Maths, Further Maths, Geography & Physics and will be progressing to Warwick University to study Maths said “It hasn’t sunk in fully, but I’m just so amazed and proud at what I’ve achieved and seeing my hard work pay off. I feel that the college has been incredibly supportive with significant help from the teachers to help me reach my potential and prepare me for the future. I am excited to start my maths degree at Warwick university and the opportunities it will bring. My advice to future students would be to work as hard as you can, as you need to put the effort in to get the results out.”
Anna Foster, from Goring, who previously attended Langtree School studied Biology, Environmental Science, English Literature alongside an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) achieving A*ABA. She said “I was quite surprised by my results. I was sure that my highest grade would be English, but that turned out to be my lowest and after some difficult Biology and Environmental Science exams, I did not think I would get an A and A*! Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with my grades – the hard work paid off! My time at Henley has been the best years of my education so far. I was given space to work at my own pace with a lot less pressure than I felt at secondary school. As a result, I have truly thrived, and that is evident in my results!” Anna will be going on to study Ecology and Conservation at Lancaster University.
