A career in Law beckons for Dania Al Aawad, Sayyah Khalid and Larib Khan, after achieving Triple Distinction * grades in the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services, which is the equivalent in UCAS points to 3 x A* at A Level.

Dania, from Wycombe, said “I have had a great time at The Henley College and feel proud and amazed at my achievements. My recommendation would be to work hard, as it will be worth it!”

Sayyah, who is from High Wycombe said “I am feeling very happy and accomplished! I have had a good time and college, creating amazing memories, especially the Call of the Wild trip to Wales! My advice to future students would be to just keep going, stay focused and put your mind to it.”

Their teacher, Andrew Unsworth said “All three started college on the Public Service level 2 course determined to study degree level Law at University.

After progressing through Level 2 achieving distinctions, all three continued to flourish on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services and have now been accepted to study Law at City, University of London.

Dania has also been nominated for the student of the year tutor award for her commitment and learning in an additional language after leaving Iraq.

An amazing achievement from three very committed students who literally jumped through hoops (and climbed rocks and mountains in Wales!) to gain top grades.”

Congratulations!
