Student BEAT Fundraising Goal for Eating Disorder Charity

Mollie Triumphs in London Winter Walk 2024, Surpassing Fundraising Goal for BEAT

Mollie, alongside her Auntie Lianne, achieved a remarkable feat by completing 'The London Winter Walk 2024' on January 27th, raising funds for BEAT - The UK’s Eating Disorder Charity. Exceeding their initial target of £2000, Mollie expressed her gratitude for the invaluable support she received from BEAT during her own battle with an eating disorder.

In a heartfelt statement, Mollie shared:

BEAT helped save my life.

She emphasized the significance of giving back to BEAT, enabling them to continue their lifesaving support for those in need. Reflecting on her journey, Mollie acknowledged the depths of her struggle, noting how BEAT's assistance guided her towards realizing that living with an eating disorder is mere survival. With time and effort, she discovered that life extends beyond the confines of food obsession, bringing back the joy of living.

The fundraising efforts of Mollie and her aunt have proven to be a resounding success, with nearly £3000 raised for BEAT. The JustGiving page remains open for further contributions.

Mollie expressed profound gratitude, stating:

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped us fundraise and to everyone who has donated so far.

The accomplishment stands as a testament to Mollie's resilience and determination.

As we celebrate Mollie's achievements, the opportunity to support BEAT persists. Donations can be made through their JustGiving page: mollie campbell is fundraising for Beat (justgiving.com)
