Student Liaison Officer Gemma tells us about her experience of working at The Henley College
Gemma lives in Twyford and started at The Henley College in September 2022.
Why did you choose to work at The Henley College? I have always been interested in working with young people so when the job came up within the welfare team at the college I jumped at the chance.
What does your role entail? I support any students who needs extra welfare support. I also manage the wecare email address.
What is your team like to work with? My team are brilliant! Everyone is really supportive.
What do you enjoy most about your job/ working at The Henley College? I love working with the students and get motivation from making a difference to the student’s experience.
What’s special about The Henley College? The welfare support we can offer all students.
Why should students choose to study at The Henley College? I believe the college offers students a great student experience, from excellent teachers to the support they receive outside the classroom.
