Student Maheen successfully completes her online placement with Cisco during the February half term.
Well done to student Maheen who successfully completed her placement with Cisco.
Maheen learnt about apprenticeships, internships and post-grad programmes on offer at Cisco, underwent mock interviews and a CV-writing and soft skills seminar.
Not only that, she had an insights session on software programming simple python coding to create a small game and a Dragons Den challenge to create a piece of technology based on Cisco’s slogan "an inclusive future for all".
Maheen said "My team came up with an app called Emplyedit targeted towards unemployed people in IT and we won the Dragons Den pitch. We were sent a bag of Cisco-branded things!"
Maheen studies Chemistry, Engineering and Applied IT.
