This two-year, qualification is the equivalent to one A level, and is for students who wish to progress to working in the Sport and Fitness sector as a Fitness Instructor, or go on to higher education for further study.
This course has been developed in consultation with employers and industry professionals and covers the following units: Careers in Sport, Health and Wellbeing in Sport and Fitness Skills Development.
The mandatory content allows students to develop technical skills for working with groups and individual clients in a health and fitness environment. Work experience will be mandatory.
