World Mental Health Day

If you’re a student at the College and you need to talk to somebody then there are people here to help.

Saturday 10th October is World Mental Health Day and as 2020 has been so hard, confusing, frightening and downright strange for us all, it's more important than ever that we look after ourselves and look out for each other.

How the College can help

The College’s experienced student counsellor, Emma Holmes, works with the Student Services team and can provide short term or drop in support. Further details are available in the student services offices in D506/D507.

Or you can make an appointment with our College Nurse, Claire, by either calling/texting 07900 406228 or by emailing Claire.smith@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk.

Find out more about all the support the College can offer here.

Although sometimes just simply taking the time to stop and rest can be helpful, or even just sharing a cup of tea with someone who is not doing so well can make the world of difference, but if you, or someone you know is really struggling, then there are so many organisations out there ready to help young people and adults.
