Extended Diploma Travel and Tourism students receive an informative talk from Emma Smith, a Virgin Holiday specialist.
During December students were visited by Emma Smith who works at Virgin Holidays. She spoke about her job and all the previous experience that she has had in the Travel and Tourism industry. Students learnt that there are many different opportunities within the industry.
Emma spoke about the perks and benefits of working for Virgin Holidays and how they earn their money which is from commission through selling holidays. She also told us about the strict rules that she must follow due to working at Virgin Holidays and how hard you need work to get into a position like hers.
Overall, Emma gave the class a good insight on the Travel and Tourism industry.
