The Henley College is First Class

New figures released by the Sixth Form Colleges Association show students from The Henley College are more likely to achieve a First Class degree than those who have attended other 16-19 institutions.

More than 84% finish university with a 2:1 or better. More than a quarter achieve a First, putting the college well ahead of the average for all Sixth Form Colleges, and both State and Independent school sixth forms. And the figures are even better for The Henley College students who go to Russell Group universities. Nearly 90% achieve a 2:1 or higher.  Just under 30% graduate with a First.

Satwant Deol, Principal of The Henley College, has welcomed the figures. “We know The Henley College is a great place to learn,” she said. “We are very proud of our academic achievements and the way students develop through the many enrichment opportunities they have at college.  These figures show how the excellent grounding we offer can really help our students to achieve when they get to university.”

The figure released by Sixth Form Colleges Association relate to degree classifications obtained by students at UK universities in the 2015/16 academic year.
