The Henley College Basketball Academy which is run in conjunction with the Reading Rockets, played in the Association of Colleges (AoC) Under 19 South East Men’s League in the 2016/2017 season. The team finished in a very respectable third position with five wins and five losses.
The squad have progressed well over the year and narrowly lost to the league winners at the back end of the season. Head Coach Ben Fisher, has been really pleased with the progression of the team over the course of the last six months saying: “The guys work really hard every day and their commitment to be better individually and compete as a team is something we are all very proud of at Henley. We are really looking forward to next season!”
