A Level Dance and vocational Performing Arts students discover what it's like to study a degree at university.
The day focused on providing the students with a taster of the dance degree offered by the university. Chichester is a leading university for dance, and The Henley College has past students in all three years of the course, as well as within the postgraduate company.
The students found the day extremely enjoyable and informative. They are now looking forward to working with alumni Henley College student Marika Thompson, who has just finished her time with the postgraduate company, and will be teaching some dance classes at the college over the forthcoming weeks. The third year company, Freefall, will also be visiting the college in the new year to provide students with workshop masterclasses and a performance of the work that they are currently touring.
