Students dress to impress!

It was an impressive sight yesterday in our Digital & Enterprise Suite watching first year Business students practising professional interview skills as part of their ‘Recruitment & Selection’ unit for their BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Business, which is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Business Teacher Victor Ewulu said “This experience is an excellent opportunity for students to prepare and learn about the interview experience.  I am enormously impressed by our students today, they came across in really professional and friendly manner when answering questions. I have no doubt that this exercise has enhanced their skills so they will be an asset to future employers and stand out at university”

Student Jake Clift said “I really enjoyed the entire process, it was a great opportunity to dress up to impress!”

Student Joe Grant added “I think it’s been a really useful experience as it has really helped me to prepare for future interviews, prepare my CV and practice cover letters in a professional way, which will enhance my future employment prospects.“
