Student Union Leaders Selected

Introducing our new President and Vice President - Lucy & Pip!

Lucy-May Fox has been elected President of the Students' Union alongside Vice President Pip Goodman. The Students’ Union plays an important role in College life, representing the views and interests of the student community.

“I am Lucy-May Fox, the new Student Union President. I am currently studying A-Level PE, Psychology and Business. As the new Student Union President, I aim to be a role model for current and future students. I want to change the way the college is viewed in comparison to Sixth Forms (we are the same, if not better!) and my main priority is student life and welfare. Students are not only able to talk to welfare officers but can also come to the student union as a safe place. I am always free for a talk!”

“Hi, my name is Pip and I am the Vice President of the Student Union. I’m currently taking A-Level Art, Law, and Criminology.

I believe that having open and honest discussions with students is vital in making sure everyone is satisfied with their time here and it’s important to me that everyone feels as though their voices are being heard. These years we spend here are critical in preparing us for life after college – whether that be in higher education, apprenticeships, or something else – and I am passionate about improving the quality of the student experience at Henley College.

I’m really looking forward to see what I can do as Vice President and would like everyone to feel free to come and talk to me anytime. As a member of the LGBTQ community; diversity and inclusion are central to me, and it is my hope that everyone of any identity and background can feel confident to be themselves at the college.”
