Students and staff at The Henley College are celebrating today after seeing results in all areas of our full-time provision.
At A Level our pass rates continue to be high at over 98% with high grades showing an improvement of nearly 3% on last year. Overall three quarters of A Level grades were at A*-C. A remarkable 30 different A Level subjects achieved 100% pass rates.
The College has also seen its outstanding record of BTEC results continue to improve with more than 80% achieving the highest grades.
Acting Principal, Simon Cuthbert, commented: “We are genuinely thrilled with these results which the staff and students have worked very hard to achieve. It is particularly pleasing to see the students achieve the grades they need for the next stage in their lives and well over 450 university places have already been confirmed this morning with many more to come over the next few days.”
Over 40 A Level students achieved at least 3 grade A/A* in their examinations. Among the many high-achieving students were Kelly Stewart who achieved 3 A* in Drama, English and Film Studies and Emily Rose who achieved 3A* in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology alongside an A in AS Further Mathematics.
