Pathways students go for a horse ride

Our Pathways students attended a long-awaited session at the Checkendon Riding for the Disabled (RDA) centre.

Our Pathways students have been working hard on their riding theory all year, but due to the pandemic have had to wait to finally meet Poppy the horse and put the theory into practice.
Poppy was delighted to be back working too and certainly loved the apple and carrot treats that the students brought with them as a reward.

The students will be doing their Grade 1 Riding and Horse Care qualification on their next visit to RDA and they hope to resume regular riding sessions from September.
