Students and staff at The Henley College raised over £500 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal by holding a cake sale and raffle. Fran Phelan, PA to the Principal, organised the fundraiser which also involved a collection point for staff and students to donate items such as sleeping bags and warm clothes. Local councilor David Eggleton collected the donations to be given directly to aid shelters and charities in Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone involved in baking and selling the cakes and raffle tickets, and thank you to everyone who donated to this very worthy cause.
