During the recent half term break a group of A level and BTEC Business, A Level Economics and A Level Politics students from The Henley College embarked on a residential study visit to New York.
Whilst in NYC students undertook a tour of Wall Street [Financial District] and a guided tour of Macy’s Department store learning the secrets behind its retail success in America. Whilst in the Big Apple the students also took an elevator to the skyline of New York via the famous Empire State Building, a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and a self-guided tour of 9/11 museum where the twin tours once stood.
One of the students was overheard commenting, “Worth every penny! Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Macy’s and plenty of shopping time”. All agreed it had been a great trip.
