We are delighted to welcome Reading Rockets star Sydney Donaldson as our new basketball coach!
Sydney graduated from the College of Idaho of NAIA Division Two in 2015, 27 year-old Sydney averaged 15 points and five rebounds in his senior year.
Joining Reading Rockets in September 2017, 6ft 3in Sydney was a prominent part of NBL Division One rivals Derby Trailblazers during the 2015-2016 season. He is also the son of Robert ‘Dip’ Donaldson who was a player-coach at Coventry Crusaders.
Sydney said “I am very excited to be working with this group of elite basketball players at Henley College. I’ve already had a few training sessions with them and I can see they play with great effort and togetherness, two attributes I highly value in this game.”
