Local music legend Carol Decker sends supporting words

We were delighted to receive a video message for our Creative Media Production (CMP) students from local music legend Carol Decker, wishing them good luck for the future.

Carol told students, “what you’ve been through is unique [...]We are so very proud of you; It’s been hard.”

Carol is a singer who came to fame in the 80s with her band T’Pau’s hit single China in Your Hand, and both her children, Scarlett and Dylan, studied CMP at the College.

Watch the video for Carol’s new single, “Be Wonderful” here and see her full message to our students over on our Instagram.

Here’s what Scarlett and Dylan had to say about studying at Henley:

“The forever friends I made at Henley College have been invaluable. I miss my college days! It has been fantastic to collaborate on the music video “Be Wonderful” with not only a younger CMP student, he is in fact my brother. It was truly a joy to use everything I had learned"  - Scarlett Coates Class of 2016

"Nothing could come close to the sheer enjoyment of my CMP course at Henley College. I cannot thank my teachers enough for everything they taught me. I was able to use my editing skills on the music video “Be Wonderful” " - Dylan Coates Class of 2020
