Grease is the word that we heard!

Students wow at this year's Christmas production of Grease.

Congratulations to this year's cast, live band, technical team and all those who worked behind the scenes to create a fantastic finale to 2016! The cast, band, and crew were a collection of year 1 and year 2 students from across the college, studying on a wide range of courses.  They had two months to put the production together, culminating in a week long run of sold out performances that audiences loved!

Stephen King, vocal coach from The Voice and a lecturer at Urdang, is a consistent supporter to The Henley College and had these kind words to say about our students: "Great work all round from the cast of Grease. You are blessed with a truly committed creative team who have given you the gift of creative freedom to create a great show. Well done".

British actor and the college's American accent coach, Ameer Choudrie praised the students for all their hard work: "Well that's the end of a fantastic run working with the students of The Henley College on Grease. You made me super proud! Thanks!".

Michael Moor, the managing director of Red Casting and the former Head of Musical Theatre at GSA was extremely pleased with the performance and had this to say: "I can recommend The Henley College - great staff and a supportive environment - plus the students I met were both charming and mature".

To read a review of the performance please see Daisy Smith's report in the Henley Standard.
