A level Animation
This A level allows you to explore both traditional and contemporary animation and you’ll leave the course with an extensive portfolio of your work.

Over the course of this A level you will complete modules in fine art, graphic design and illustration, and then move on to independent work in the second year.

You will complete workshops in disciplines such as felting, batik, screen printing, hand embroidery and machine embroidery, and then more on to independent work in the second year.

This course is designed for students who are already qualified in any dance background who wish to move on to studying dance in depth.

This course is designed for students with a keen interest in studying, visiting and producing theatre. It primarily consists of studying play texts, live performance work and the ideas of influential theatre directors.

Combining theory and practical this course will give you the opportunity to undertake detailed research, plan, produce and present work and build skills in digital technologies.

You will gain a strong technical foundation in traditional film photography, digital and darkroom manipulations and using Photoshop, and then you will move on to produce an in depth portfolio of work including a written critical analysis.

Try out different areas of art, media (film and TV) and photography in this one year course before transitioning from general education to specialist art, design and media education at university.
