Former Henley College students prepare for International Debuts

Two former Henley College Students are preparing to make their international debuts this weekend after impressing their Club sides so far this season.

Tom Willis (left) who graduated last year has been named in the England U20’s squad to face Italy, whilst 25yr old Alec Hepburn (right) who left the College in 2011 is selected by Rugby Coach Eddie Jones to appear in the full England squad to face Italy in the opening game of the RBS Six nations.

Tom (19) who has been a regular in the Wasps A-league & Anglo-Welsh Cup side this season starts at number 8 for England U20, after a successful Tour to South Africa with England U18 in during his last year at the college.

Alec who found his feet at Exeter Chiefs, after spells with Wasps, Henley Hawks & London Welsh will most likely come off the Bench for Eddie Jones men in a finisher Role.

A remarkable achievement for both young players and a testament to the AASE Rugby Programme at The Henley College.

More exciting news this week for Current College players also: Cameron Anderson is named in Dai Young’s Wasps side to face Leicester; Vlad Dumbrava is selected to represent Romania U18, Mikey Mbaud selected to represent Netherlands U20 & Mario Pichardie is selected to represent Spain U18.
