Forensics and Criminal Investigation students examine mock traffic accident scene

Year 1 Forensic and Criminal Investigation students have had their knowledge tested at a mock traffic accident scene, as part of their Traffic Investigation unit.

The scene depicted the result of a collision involving a cyclist, who was killed, and a driver who fled the scene and later denied hitting the cyclist. The students had to consider the physical evidence and witness statements to decide if they should recommend a prosecution. They also took photographs as part of their Forensic Photography module.
