Find out why Kirsten chose to study Performing Arts at The Henley College

"The teachers are so supportive and uplifting and my drama class is full of the most amazing people, we clicked instantly and have now formed our own little performing arts family!"

We caught up with new Performing Arts student Kirsten, who joined us from Bohunt School, to find out how she is getting on and why she chose The Henley College.

I chose The Henley College for multiple reasons. Firstly, it is in a lovely area and the facilities are incredible. I had a bit of a main character moment when I first toured the campus and walked into their dance studio, it's safe to say I was overjoyed! Another reason was the course itself as I want to go into the professional world of performing arts and this course is going to help kick start my journey.

As a new student studying at The Henley College, I feel as though I've adapted really well to the college lifestyle. You are given more independence and enter a more mature environment. Henley has been described as a "mini university" having lovely campuses, great study facilities and access to the town centre where you can grab lunch with some friends.

One of the things I love about the College is the immense amount of diversity. All the people I have met are lovely and so accepting. You shouldn't be worried about making friends.

The opportunities are endless at Henley with experiences such as trips into London to watch shows and travel into public spaces to do site performancesThe teachers are so supportive and uplifting and my drama class is full of the most amazing people, we clicked instantly and have now formed our own little performing arts family!
