The Henley College is a great place to work and that’s official! The College has just heard it has successfully achieved a prestigious Gold Award from Investors in People.
The internationally recognised award is given to high performing organisations that demonstrate excellence in leading, managing and developing staff. It is only awarded after a rigorous assessment process that looks at all aspects of the way the organisation is run, including leadership, management, support and continuous improvement. Almost 50 members of staff from all areas of The Henley College took part in detailed interviews as part of the process. This is the second time in a row that Gold has been awarded to The Henley College.
The official report is yet to be received but comments from the assessor have singled out The Henley College’s clear vision, its values and the fact that sharing learning is embedded in the whole college.
Staff feel valued and involved in developments and there is trust and engagement at every level, including amongst the students.
Of particular note was The Henley College’s commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
