Jim Parkyn, Senior Model Maker and ambassador Aardman Studios held a model making workshop for Animation and Creative Media Students.
Students rolled up their sleeves and got to work on learning how to make Aardman’s most famous dog, Gromit.
Aardman are famous for their award winning animations both on the big and small screens, including Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run and Creature Comforts. They’ve been nominated for seven Oscars and have won four. This workshop was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn from an industry expert ahead of embarking on their careers in Animation and film making.
