Overview

This AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) advanced level course is a mid-level bookkeeping qualification, ideal for anyone who is looking to advance their existing knowledge of accounting.

Dates

Start Date: Monday, 15th January 2024

End Date: Monday, 17th June 2024

The course covers 20 study weeks and is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education, the award-winning blended learning platform Mindful Education . Students learn online using the Mindful Education platform and attend weekly sessions in College. The weekly face-to-face sessions take place on Monday evenings, 6.00 – 9.00pm.

 

Assessment:

This course is assessed through computer-based exams and unit assessments.

Duration: 20 Weeks Part-Time
Entry requirements:

You must have a sound knowledge of bookkeeping principles to undertake the AAT Level 3 programme. Achievement of an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping is advantageous but not essential.

Course Cost: £835

The course fee if waived if you:

· are 19 or over and do not already have a level 3 qualification

· already have a level 3 qualification or higher but earn below £20,319

· are unemployed

The skills and knowledge you will gain throughout this qualification will qualify you for roles including Finance Officer, and Assistant Accountant and Bookkeeper. You will also be eligible for AAT Bookkeeper (AATQB) status, giving you the option to work as a freelance bookkeeper.
