You will explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to graphic design and animation. The first year will introduce you to techniques and software as well as help you develop a personal style through experimentation and development of briefs and outcomes. Your second year will build on and develop the skills learned in the first year in order to create unique and innovative outcomes to design/animation briefs and build a portfolio of work. You will benefit from the expertise of practicing graphic designers and visits from Aardman.
Careers and opportunities in the creative industries are varied and include Film / TV / Web design and graphic design. As a student you will create an extensive portfolio to showcase your work.
