We have heard a wonderful and heartwarming story this week of 2 students from The Henley College, Oxon who helped to save a mother duck and her ducklings.

Local Henley-on-Thames resident and PCSO Claire Hewett said:

“The ducks were helped back to the river by a young man and young lady from the Henley College. They helped by protecting the family and guiding them from the marketplace to the junction of Reading Road Friday, then my colleague and I took over. The  youngsters did a good job. I didn't get their names, but It was a really nice thing to do. They probably didn't notice but lots of people were watching them.  I was in the over 60s club when one of the older ladies noticed them so I went to help, I think it was about 11.20am on Monday morning.”

What a quacking tale!

Do you know who the mystery students are? If so, please get in touch.
