The Henley College is pleased to offer a new vocational Diploma in Fashion Business & Retail

The Henley College is excited to be launching a diploma in what could lead to a very glamorous career. Fashion Business and Retail has been created to provide students with the ideal skills for the fashion world and it’s inner workings.

Satwant Deol, Principal at The Henley College has said: “The college is tailoring our new courses for graduates to have the choice whether to continue in full time education or go into the workplace. This exciting new diploma offers both. Only nine other colleges in the country offer this course and we are pleased that much interest has already been shown”.

The full time 2 year diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels provides an in-depth perspective into one of the UK’s largest and globally respected industries. Students will learn about all areas of the fashion business including Fashion Design, Fashion social media, Brand Development and Brand Management.  The qualification offers possible employment options such as; Fashion Buying, Fashion PR and Marketing, Fashion Management, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Forecasting, or Collection Planning.

Lucy Pollock, a graduate of Central St Martins with an M.A in Fashion Design, will be teaching on the course and has a wealth of fashion experience including having two of her own brands.  Lucy previously ran her own retail stores and manufactured clothing in Asia for many years. Lucy has been teaching the many other facets of the Fashion World for the past six years at London College of Fashion on Oxford Street.
