Extended Diploma Business students organise an event at Lashbrook.
Our Extended Diploma Business students organised an event in February at a local care home as part of their work for Unit 18, Managing an Event. Funds raised were donated to local charity, Sue Ryder. Lashbrook residents and staff had a wonderful afternoon with our students. The activities manager said that, “It is nice to see young people so at ease and friendly towards the elderly. They were a credit to themselves and the college and our residents will remember this for a very long time to come. The students involved are welcome at Lashbrook anytime, it would be a pleasure to see them again. Please pass on a very big thank you from all at Lashbrook”.
