Students engage in three day workshop!

BTEC Performing Arts and A Level Drama and Theatre Studies students recently participated in a three day workshop with RD Production and Casting. The workshop was aimed at preparing the students for their HE auditions and interviews for the next academic year at a range of vocational conservatoires and universities.

Students participated in two days of vocal and acting workshops, storytelling and improvisational sessions, and a mock dance audition. The third day culminated individual mock auditions where students could perform the songs and monologues they had been developing to a panel and experience a mock interview with Michael Moor, Director of RD Casting and Former Head of Musical Theatre at GSA. The workshop was led by Ameer Choudrie and Stephen King, with guest professional dance artist, Shelley Maxwell. The workshop was also opened to external students.
