CEO of PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) John Rendel has returned to the College to give an inspiring lecture on his work in Uganda to provide affordable secondary education to local children.
John last visited the College in 2006 to talk about the journey that led him to found the educational charity. A decade later and John was able to talk about the successes and challenges that have faced the charity and the wonderful progress that has been made in both building schools and employing local Ugandans to work and teach.
PEAS were the College’s chosen charity to support at the last EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) event in October 2015 when the theme was Black History Month.
