A great day for our Duke of Edinburgh students as they get a session breaking down the importance of teamwork.
Students at The Henley College enjoyed learning all about teamwork this morning for their forthcoming Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award!
Pictured is Professional Tutor Jess Princivalle, who was given a lift by students alongside the organisers School of Outdoors Dominic Taylor and colleagues Phil Read and Ann Doick!
Dominic Taylor, from The School of Outdoors, said “This is the first time The Henley College have offered the Gold D of E and have partnered with the School of Outdoors to deliver the expedition section. They will be spending 10 days in Wales and on the last 5 days they will be completing a self-sufficient expedition that will cover around 85kms and will carry everything that they need including their food and water. There will also be wild camping that the students will have to carry out.”
Once they finish their award they will get to go to St James’s palace to receive it from one of the Royal Family!
