Former student returns to speak to college leavers

Sophie Brownlee, a former student, returned to the College on Friday, 8th July to meet her teachers and to speak to current History and Politics students about university applications and opportunities.

Sophie was a student at the College from 2011-2013 and gained superb results with A* grades in Ancient History, English Literature and Government and Politics and an A grade in History. She also received one of the College's awards for Outstanding Performance. Sophie's visit helped current students gain a better understanding about what university entails and how to make the most out of the opportunities further education provides.

Sophie has just gained a First Class Honours Degree in History at the University of Manchester and will now be pursuing a Masters Degree at the University of Birmingham.
