Guy Thurlow, from Henley-on-Thames, who achieved a triple distinction BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business last year at The Henley College, Oxon, came in to share his experience as a 1st year university student.
Guy Thurlow, from Henley-on-Thames, who achieved a triple distinction BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business last year at The Henley College, Oxon, came in to share his experience as a 1st year university student.
Now studying a BA (Hons) in Business Team Entrepreneurship at UWE Bristol, Guy described his innovative course that encourages entrepreneurialism. This includes an open plan work hub, collaborative spaces and coaches to encourage business start ups. Amazingly, he has already set up 2 businesses which are running at a profit.
At the Henley College, we equip students to be independent learners. This is evident from the fact that the 84% of our students who go on to university achieve a minimum of a 2:1, this is 8% higher than the independent sector.
