Bethany Senda gains a place at the prestigious Emil Dale’s Performing Arts Academy

Bethany Senda, a BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts student at The Henley College has been successful in gaining a place to study Musical Theatre at the prestigious Emil Dale’s Performing Arts Academy.

As one of only 43 students selected from over 3000 applicants, Bethany obtaining a place at Emil Dale’s is a tremendous achievement.

During her time at The Henley College, Bethany has had the opportunity to take part in a variety of productions, such as ‘Grease’ and the role of Hermia in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. She recently played the understudy of Wednesday Addams in the College production of ‘The Addams Family’.

She said, “My experience at The Henley College has been great! Over my 2 years of study, I have taken part in a range of productions that have challenged me as a performer but have also given me great opportunities to highlight the broad range of material we cover on the course.

The Henley College has opened doors for me to be able to network with outside professionals such as Ameer Choudrie, Steven King and Michael Moor who hosted a three-day intensive workshop. It’s been a jam packed two years and it has really paid off as I have achieved my goal of being able to study at a higher level for the next 3 years”
