A Level Spanish students compete in Tapas competition!

Before the Easter holidays first year A Level Spanish students participated in the first ever Tapas Contest to be held at The Henley College.

The judges had a difficult job to do as there were so many fantastic presentations with great taste and cultural significance. The overall winners were Lily Heywood and Nerea Diaz-Grana who made some wonderful "croquetas".

A Level Spanish at The Henley College centres on effective communication as well as giving students an insight into the culture and tradition of the Spanish speaking countries. Students are exclusively taught by native speaking teachers and they'll have additional time for speaking practice with the language assistant. There is also the chance of participating in the annual weekend visit to a Spanish city which gives the opportunity of experiencing Spanish culture.
