With 26 subjects gaining a 100% pass rate, Henley College students have much to celebrate today following the release of their highly anticipated A Level results.
Topping last year’s results, A Level students achieved an overall 98% pass rate across all subjects, with over three quarters of these at A*-C. In addition, over three quarters of Mathematics students were awarded A*-B, with English Language students achieving a 94% pass rate at A*-C.
Creative subjects also secured excellent results with over 90% of Art students and 80% Photography students gaining A*-B grades.
The College has also seen its outstanding record of BTEC results continue to improve with 83% achieving the highest grades, with 34% gaining triple D* (equivalent to 3 A Levels at A*) an increase of 5% on last year.
Principal, Satwant Deol, commented: “We are absolutely delighted with the students’ results, particularly as they have improved in all categories from last year.
Nearly 500 students have already had their choice of university confirmed. The majority of our students have been offered places at top universities. Also this year, we have seen students progressing onto degree level apprenticeships with a whole range of employers, including large blue chip companies and small and medium enterprises.
We know that our students will go on to make a valuable contribution to the local and national economy and society. We know we turn out well-rounded young individuals who thrive at university or in the world of work.”
A strong foundation for future success
Our students are celebrating their exam results, but these recent achievements are just the beginning for so many students who progress on to bright and highly successful academic futures following their studies at Henley.
