Oxfordshire Coach Timetable 2018-19

On Tuesday 19th June 2018 the Oxfordshire County Council held a Public Health and Education Cabinet meeting to discuss Oxfordshire’s Home to School Transport and Travel Policy. As a result of the meeting the Cabinet has made the decision to end the current arrangements giving subsidised travel to Post 16 students to The Henley College and to implement this change from September 2018. Cost of the College Coach

The cost of the college coach for the academic year is £920, which can be paid in full or in two instalments (including a £20 administration fee). If you would like to pay in instalments a first payment of £525 will need to be paid to secure your space on the coach and a second payment of £415 will need to be made by the 2nd January 2019. 

The College runs coaches; covering Upton, Harwell, Didcot, Blewbury, Streatley, Crays Pond, Whitchurch, Woodcote, Checkendon, Stoke Row, Thame, Princes Risborough, Chinnor, Chalgrove, Watlington. 

Information for second year students

This scheme is only available to students returning to The Henley College for their second year of study and who would like to apply for the college-run coaches 2018-19 academic year.

Before submitting an application please ensure you have your ParentPay log in details and that you have read the terms and conditions of travelling on college transport before submitting an application. Please see the below timetable to make a note of which coach, stop and pick-up time you require.

All sections of the Oxfordshire Student Bus Pass Application Form need to be completed with the correct information and followed by a payment via ParentPay. Failure to do this will cause a delay in your application process and you may not receive a bus pass on your first day back at college.

Once you have submitted your application, payment for your bus pass MUST be made via ParentPay (www.parentpay.com). You will have been issued an account at the beginning of the academic year, if you have lost these details you will need to contact a member of the MIS team by either emailing MIS@henleycol.ac.uk or phoning 01491 634061.

Any outstanding payments for the 2017-18 academic year will need to be paid before applying for the 2018-19 academic year. 



Information for first year students

First year students will be able to apply for a space on the College Coach during enrolment. Please take the time to read the coach timetable and the College Coach Terms and Conditions. A payment of £920 or a first instalment of £525 will need to be paid during the enrolment process to secure a students space on the College Coach. The second instalment of £415 will need to be paid via ParentPay by the 2nd January 2019. A ParentPay account will be created for parents/guardians during the start of term 2018-19.

Help with transport costs

There is a Bursary fund that can assist towards the cost of travel from the College 16 – 19 Bursary Fund if eligibility criteria is met. Please see here for more information.
