Interviews and Offers

Most students who apply to the College should receive an offer of an interview* during the Spring or Summer term. The interview is an opportunity for you to find out more about the courses you are applying to study, and to ask any further questions about the College and services provided.

Your interview letter will make you aware of anything you are expected to bring to your interview - this may include evidence of achieved or predicted grades, art portfolios, or a prepared audition piece for Performing Arts subjects. If you are uncertain of these requirements please contact the Admissions office who will be happy to help: admissions@henleycol.ac.uk .

Prior to your interview, try to think of any queries you may have regarding your course, or the College, that you would like to discuss. Your interviewer will be keen to ensure you that the course of study you are applying for is suitable for you, and that you have the appropriate ability and enthusiasm for the subject.

Applicants are expected at interview accompanied by their parent(s) or guardian(s).

If you wish to change your AS Level subjects once you have had your interview, you may be able to do this, providing there is space and you meet the entry requirements. Please contact Admissions for advice.

Following your interview, you will hopefully be sent an offer letter. Most offers will be subject to you achieving the required GCSE grades, and meeting the points requirements: see Entry Requirements.

You will be asked to come to the College to enrol at given time on one of the enrolment days. At enrolment you will need to bring evidence of your achieved grades.

If you don't get the grades you need for your course, you should still come to the Enrolment and Advisory service, on the day and time you have been given. You will get help to choose an alternative course, subject to spaces being available.

If your grades are much better than predicted, you should still come to the Enrolment and Advisory service, on the day and time you have been given. The interviewer will discuss all options with you.

*If the College is unable to offer an applicant a course of study then it will send a letter of notification.
