Make sure you take time to research the destinations that you are planning to visit, there are many excellent guidebooks available that can offer valuable insight into culture, accommodation and sightseeing. It is also worth speaking to friends or family that may have visited the country before, first hand experience can be a great source of hints and tips for a safe and happy trip.

Whenever travelling abroad check with your doctor to see whether you will require any vaccinations or additional health protection, such as malarial tablets.
