Our IT Services team is currently looking for methodical and experienced IT professionals to fill the permanent full-time vacancies below: Systems Administrator The post is responsible for ensuring the availability and stability of the college IT infrastructures, including Active Directory, VMWare vSphere, MS Exchange, WSUS and server deployment, and 3rd line support for the college IT helpdesk. Previous experience of VMWare and MS Exchange desirable. Salary up to £ 28,203.00 per annum. Systems Support Administrator The post is responsible for day-to-day IT Services tasks including advanced diagnosis of hardware/software faults, maintenance of desktop and server operating systems, maintenance of telephony and wireless devices, software deployment, and 2nd line support for the college IT helpdesk. Previous experience of Active Directory and Moodle desirable. Candidates should have a good standard of education in a relevant discipline, at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, detailed knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS, and be highly skilled in fault diagnosis. | Programme Leader Mathematics |
The College is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher and an energetic leader who will further advance the standards of teaching and learning and student achievement in Maths. Results in this area are rapidly improving. In addition to being a highly effective manager and motivational leader to a dedicated team, you should be a good or outstanding teacher determined to improve achievement of all learners. The Programme Leader has direct responsibility for Maths in the following courses: A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Use of Mathematics/ GCSE and Functional Skills Mathematics (including part-time courses). Programme Leaders have a critical role within the College and are responsible for all matters relating to the effective delivery of the curriculum. Programme Leaders within the College work closely as a team and report directly to their Heads of Schools of Study. The Henley College offers an induction and mentoring programme for all new staff members and supports opportunities for CPD. Salary up to £43,463.00 per annum including PSP payments. | Programme Leader Sport |
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Programme Leader of Sport to lead a team of committed teachers, develop the sports curriculum, drive quality improvement and enable learners to achieve success. Candidates should have experience of delivering the curriculum to a very high standard, be flexible in their approach and have excellent organisation skills. The candidate will be responsible for leading our academic and vocational sports courses as well as working with local and national sports organisations and delivering and promoting sport enrichment to a diverse range of students. You will personally be an outstanding teacher capable of producing high quality teaching and learning and being an effective role model to other teachers. You should also have experience of delivering high quality pastoral care to students. The area has a newly built sports hall and fitness room and we have effective links with many local teams and sport governing bodies. The College has recently been awarded Active College status by Sport England. Salary up to £40,413.00 per annum including PSP payments. | Playworkers |
The HENLEY College are looking to build a bank of qualified and unqualified playworkers for their new and successful holiday club. Applicants will be expected to set up, plan, organise and supervise play opportunities for children aged 5 to 12. You will work as part of a team to ensure children can experiment and learn about themselves and the world around them, through play. You will arrange activities such as team games, sports, drama, music, arts and crafts activities, and in some cases take children on day trips and outings. It will also be part of the job to encourage good behaviour in the children and deal with any challenging behaviour. The hours will be 8am to 6pm daily and on a part-time or full-time basis. Rates of pay are: Qualified and experienced Supervisor £10.00ph Applicants will be able to produce an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (previously Criminal Records Bureau disclosure), for those who have not had a DBS check The HENLEY College will apply for a check, however, employment cannot begin until a check has been carried out and received by the College.
